Move8 Walk-a-Hunt

Slow walks, iconic landmarks, local stories.

A destination-focused, in-person or virtual experience that gets you unravelling clues while accomplishing missions along the route. It’s fun and it’s free for individuals.

You can join in-person at our special events when we launch the maps and videos, or you can join remotely from anywhere in the world!

Coming soon on 18 January 2025, we will walk around the architectural marvel, world’s second tallest at 678.9m, Menara Merdeka 118 Precinct Kuala Lumpur! We launched three Move VR Walk-a-Hunt editions in 2023 with new updates in 2024 revealed for Sydney Haymarket Chinatown (21 SEP). Keep on moving, folks! Don’t forget to add the hashtags #move8 #sportsinclusion #diversitybyinclusion in your socials 🙂

For Groups: For friends and co-workers, join in the fun and be Fit for Good! Consider taking up a Corporate Pledge and join in as a group at any time. Contact our sales team on how we can make this an enjoyable and memorable teambuilding experience for your group.

For Individuals: This is an open-sourced walkathon, meaning once the maps and videos are launched, members of the public are welcome to walk and play at any time. While it’s free for all to enjoy, we do ask for those who enjoyed the experience to RSVP and purchase a festival pass at only MYR66 per person (Malaysia) or A$33 per person (Australia / International). All profits are channeled towards our purpose partners.

About Move8

Welcome to Move8 an advocacy and activation platform. We advocate for Sports and Fitness Equity, cutting down barriers of entry to sports, fitness and wellness programs. We work with community groups throughout Asia Pacific to run activation programs that are inclusive to seniors, women and youth communities, and work hard to ensure persons with disabilities (PWDs), B40s, refugees, stateless and vulnerable persons are not left behind. Optimum health and wellness are a basic human right and must be available to all layers of society. Be a Fit for Good advocate – join the movement here: www.move8.org.
