Welcome to an exhilarating walk, circumnavigating Menara Merdeka 118, the second tallest tower in the world at 679-metres. Merdeka 118 precinct will be Kuala Lumpur’s newest iconic district to host the Move8 VR Walk-a-Hunt.
Explore iconic landmarks along a 3KM route in your own leisurely time, while discovering local businesses and learning about their stories while circumnavigating the world’s second tallest tower at 678.9-metres! Menara Merdeka 118 is Kuala Lumpur’s latest iconic architectural marvel can be seen from almost every corner of the city.
This edition of the Move8 Walk-a-Hunt is presented by Tourism Malaysia and is supported by PNB Merdeka Ventures Sdn. Berhad and ThinkCity. An inclusive event, participants can walk in-person or join by watching a VR 360° film.

Move8 Walk-a-Hunt @ Merdeka 118 Precinct
- Date: Saturday 18 January 2025
- Time: 7:30am-12:30pm MYT
- Starting point: Stadium Merdeka – Main Gate
- Route: 3KM walk in-person or walk virtually following a VR film
- Cost: Free for individuals but RSVP essential. Corporate groups cost MYR5,000 (US$2,000) per group of 20-pax with each person receiving a goodie bag and a delicious lunch in support of local businesses in the area.
