Sydney

The 2024 edition of the Move8 Walk-a-Hunt @ Sydney Haymarket was launched on 21 September 2024 in collaboration with City of Sydney’s Sydney Streets Haymarket.

Participants can choose two ways to participate:

  1. Walk in-person and unravel the clues and missions on-site in Sydney’s Chinatown, or
  2. Journey with someone using our immersive 360° film for a Virtual Experience from anywhere in the world.

Either way you choose, we have designed the Move8 VR Walk-a-Hunt to be a 90-minute slow walking self-guided tour where you’ll discover iconic landmarks and learn about local businesses along the path and support them too!

What’s next?

  • Who: You can walk solo, as a duo or gather a group of 8 persons for the best experience.
  • When: Set your own date, anytime! We recommend starting at around 10.30am so that it’ll be the perfect time for lunch in Chinatown when you finish the walk.
  • Venue: Starting point Darling Square Community Bank Branch – Bendigo Bank, Shop NE12 11 Little Pier Street, Haymarket NSW 2000.
  • Route duration: 3KM
  • How to join? RSVP and receive a link to start playing.

If you need assistance, send us a WhatsApp +601163320288 (International Customer Support Line) or email us at info@sportsfitnessfestival.com. Remember, this is NOT a race, take your own time to unravel Sydney’s Chinatown and we hope you’ll discover something new too.

In collaboration with The City of Sydney:

In conjunction with The City of Sydney’s Revitalisation Strategy for Sydney Haymarket (Chinatown), Sydney Streets was one of the activations introduced to bring more people to the precinct. A family friendly affair, Sydney Streets Haymarket ran from 9am to 11.30pm through parts of Dixon, Hay, Little Hay and Sussex streets in Sydney’s Chinatown. The special event closed off the streets for an all-day block-party-style celebration. For more information, visit: Streets in Haymarket | City of Sydney – What’s On (nsw.gov.au)
